The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G is finally here. Well, it's not available now, but you can pre-order on Amazon here. The price is also now a little cheaper than the first 2 Z Fold phones. So, if you've been waiting to get it, the time is pretty ripe, now.

The third iteration of the Z Fold 3 is much better with waterproofing and the add of the new S Pen especially for the Z Fold 3. We must really thank Samsung, because, they went all out to create such an interesting and wonderful product. Even companies like Apple don't take such big risks as Samsung did by building this type of foldable phone.

While companies like Apple playing the safe game by only giving incremental improvement to their products, Samsung came out with the Z Fold phones. Which no other company is brave enough to take the risk. And, the first Z Fold phone was a failure?

Samsung definitely didn't take it as a failure. In fact, they listen to their customer complaints and try to improve on them. Then came the  Z Fold 2. If I had the money, I would have instantly bought it. It was a vast improvement from the first.

As I've said before in my past blog post (read it here), I like the Z Fold phones because it's like a mini laptop when you open it halfway. You can open up and use the on-screen keyboard as if it's a laptop. I'm not sure how good the experience is but it's still interesting.

The best thing about it is that you can also use it as a 7-inch tablet. Open it up fully and enjoy the bigger screen. For playing games, watching youtube, or video editing. As a Youtuber, that bigger screen will be very useful to edit the pictures and videos for your youtube channel.

Sometimes, I'll use my Samsung Note 10+ to record videos or take pictures and upload them on my Youtube channel. Of course, it's quick and easy but even with a 6.8" screen size, it's still kinda small and difficult to edit. 

Having a 2 in 1 mobile device that opens up into a 7.6" tablet is such a nifty useful thing to have. Especially, when you want to travel light. I don't know why Samsung doesn't want to showcase any Youtuber or vlogger in their presentation.

Samsung also announced their new Z Flip 3 5G. My sis is thinking of getting the Z Fold 3 but I told her why not get the Z Flip 3 instead. It's a little smaller and cheaper. The Z Flip is basically for the fashion conscious. It also has all the bells and whistles of the Fold 3 only in a smaller package.

There are still people who prefer a smaller phone and not having to bring around a brick. Even Apple has its mini retro iPhone line. It's good that companies don't just offer one fit-it-all size mobile devices. It's been a while since we have had any kind of variety.

If you're looking for a cheap tablet to use around the house or for the kids, you might want to check out the RCA Voyager Pro 7 tablet. Granted, this is not one of the high-end tablets that on par with the latest android phone but for a simple task like checking emails. chatting and watching youtube. It's more than enough.

Anyway, if it's for the kids, they won't need all that power. Now, Samsung has the most powerful android phone the S20 Ultra. To me, all that processor and graphics GPU is way too powerful and expensive for the average user. That's why I myself am sticking to my Note 10+ for work and for play. I also recommended my mom to get it too. That could last her for another 10 years just like her old Note 3 phone.

One thing great about the RCA voyager tablet is that it comes with a Bluetooth keyboard case. So, you don't have to worry about protection or adding more accessories. It's not a full-fledge keyboard of course but again, for simple tasks, it'll do. If you want to use it as a tablet, just take it off the case. Quick and easy. So what you waiting for?

Again, this tablet is not very powerful. It's cheap for a reason. It only has 1 GB DDR_SDRAM, 16GB of storage, 2MP camera, and Wifi. You can expand the storage size if you want. For me, ultimately what's important is the keyboard. You can easily install Whatsapp and link it to your phone so that you can chat using a keyboard. Replying to an email would be easy too.

Another thing is if you're into retro gaming, you can install your favorite emulator and play games on it. Retro games aren't very big in size and they don't need powerful graphics. Of course, you can also play some good android games. Just make sure, it'll work with the tablet. It's actually using the Android Go edition. Especially, for low-end android tablet.

If you're the type who likes to read and watch youtube before you sleep (like me), this would definitely be great. Although, people have said that the battery doesn't last that long. Well, at least you won't need to use your phone and having to charge it through the night. For the price, this alternative to expensive tablets is a great bargain!
