ipega-PG-9087S Wireless 4.0 Game Controller Gamepad Joystick for Samsung GALAXY S10 /S20/ NOTE10 OPPO VIVO Xiaomi LG Smart Android Mobile Phone Tablet (Android 6.0 and above)
Hey guys,
Check it out!
Admittedly, it has been a while since I've played mobile games. Okay, any kind of game. Been busy with my cycling and photography projects. But, since it's rainy season and I can't go out, I decided to take out the Ipega red knight 9087s and see if I can play any games on my iPhone 13.
Well, I can connect to the iPhone but the control buttons aren't working. I tried everything and finally gave up. Again, my Samsung S22+ case design is making it difficult to fit in but somehow I managed to. It's definitely much easier to connect and play on an Android mobile device.

I did an unboxing and blogging about the ipega red knight controller a couple of years back. You can watch the unboxing video here and more on my youtube channel. The good news is, it still works fine. And, I prefer the mode press Home+X for RPG, racing, fighting, and retro gaming.
I tried playing the new Diablo Immortal with the 9087s and it works right out of the box. I don't even need the V3 buttons mapping software. Which you can download from the Google play store. I like how the design and color of the red buttons fit the overall look theme of the game.
Razer Kishi Mobile Game Controller / Gamepad for Android USB-C: Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, xCloud, Stadia, GeForce NOW, Luna - Passthrough Charging - Low Latency Phone Controller Grip - Samsung, Pixel
Someone said the thumbstick is kinda small. He's right. I have small hands and even I think it's too small. It doesn't feel as good as an xbox one s controller. Notice that I said Xbox one s. It's the only controller that I have tried connecting via Bluetooth with my Samsung Android phone.
Yes, you can connect and play mobile games with an xbox one s controller, if you didn't already know. I'm assuming, that all the latest xbox controllers can do this now via Bluetooth unlike in the past. Where you have to buy a PC version of the xbox 360 controller. Check out my old video from 11 years ago here.
Xbox Core Wireless Controller – Mineral Camo (Special Edition)
One more thing, if you don't know is that with Samsung Dex, you can play mobile games on a bigger screen like a portable monitor or even a Tv. Connect your xbox controller, and voila! It's like gaming on a console. Pretty cool. Check out my video here and more if you're interested.
In the early days, mobile gamers like me used to lament about the lack of ability to play mobile games with a physical controller. Nowadays, you're spoilt for choice. There are so many mobile game controllers that it pretty much depends on your budget, best build, and most importantly good games with controller support.
GameSir X2 Pro-Xbox Mobile Game Controller for Android Type-C (100-179mm), Phone Controller for xCloud, Stadia, Luna - 1 Month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate -Passthrough Charging (Black)
Well, I just discovered the GameSir X2 pro-Xbox, approved mobile game controller. It even comes with 1 month's xbox game pass. I might check this out later on. Imagine, being able to stream play your favorite xbox games and play them on the go.
Mobile gaming or portable gaming has really come far. From being able to play full console-quality games on your laptop and other portable devices like the Nintendo Switch or Switch lite to now your mobile phone. How cool is that? If you search through my blog post, I have been wanting this for years!
Well, who would have imagined being able to play Diablo on a mobile phone with a mobile controller, eh?

have a listen! I test create garageband music on my MacBook pro m1 pro
Apple 2021 MacBook Pro (14-inch, M1 Pro chip with 10‑core CPU and 16‑core GPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) - Silver
Hey guys,
Check it out!
I have always liked dabbling and making music with the Apple Garageband app. Before I have this Macbook pro M1 pro, I played around with the iPad version. What's the difference? For the iPad, it's more on the touchscreen interface.
You can strum a virtual guitar on the iPad, but you can't on a laptop, obviously. At first, I thought the UI aka user interface would be the same. So, I was wondering where all the musical instruments are? After a while, I got used to it.
Apple 2021 MacBook Pro (14-inch, M1 Pro chip with 10‑core CPU and 16‑core GPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) - Silver
I do remember playing with the Mac Garageband version on a Macbook Gold in 2016. You can watch the video here. Looking back at the video, it certainly is much different now. Though, I'm still a little confused about how to use it.
It kinda overwhelms me with all the things I can or should do to create my own music. I find it a little weird that I have to download sample music. Aren't they all supposed to be already available and able to use once I opened it?
Apple 2023 MacBook Pro Laptop M2 Pro chip with 12‑core CPU and 19‑core GPU: 16.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR Display, 16GB Unified Memory, 512GB SSD Storage. Works with iPhone/iPad; Silver
Anyway, while using Garageband, everything runs pretty smoothly. There weren't any hiccups or slow-down. I do feel a little cramp. If you have a bigger external monitor, that would help. I saw a music pro friend on FB showed his setup and he likes using the ultra-wide curved monitor.
I'm thinking of getting one. Not for the Macbook but for my main gaming Pc setup. Currently, I'm using the 24-inch HDMI monitor by Asus. Had it for years and it's still working great. My nephew still waiting for me to give it to him. If ever, I'm getting a new monitor. Lol.
Apple 2021 MacBook Pro (16-inch, M1 Max chip with 10-core CPU and 32-core GPU, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD) - Silver
If you didn't know yet, the latest Apple Macbook pro m2 pro or max 2 was just announced this week. Yes, if I had waited a little while, I could have got it instead of the M1 pro. But, looking at the price, I think, the M1 pro is just right for me now.
Obviously, that extra percentage gain would be useful for my photography and video editing. That's why I've gone for the 16GB ram. I would prefer a 16-inch screen but, it's a little way over my budget. The current MacBook pro m1 pro is still more than enough for me.
Apple 2020 MacBook Air Laptop M1 Chip, 13" Retina Display, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD Storage, Backlit Keyboard, FaceTime HD Camera, Touch ID. Works with iPhone/iPad; Space Gray
You don't really have to get the latest, fastest, and most expensive Macbook. Really depends on what you're using it for. When I got the Macbook Gold in 2016, I really love it. It's not a pro but for normal usage, it was really fun and interesting. That was my first Mac!
My nephew loves it too. I did have a little problem with the monitor screen and luckily, it was still under guarantee. I went to a third-party repair shop and they did a good job of replacing it. Later on, I decided to sell it. My nephew asked me why I sold it as he likes using it every time he came over.
Well, over 8 years later, now I got myself a Macbook pro. Though, this time, I'll be using it for a long while yet.

my new cheap portable RGB gaming keyboard for MacBook pro M1 Pro
RK ROYAL KLUDGE RK61 Wired 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard RGB Backlit Ultra-Compact Hot Swappable Red Switch Black
Hey guys,
Check it out!
I love the 60% RGB gaming keyboard. It's so compact, portable, and light. Love the different colors and various modes available. Although, it can be a little annoying at times. Significantly, the one I'm using right now when I need to use the arrow keys. I'll need to press FN+W to activate it.
I don't use the arrow keys that often unless when I'm blogging or typing code. I'm not a pro coder but, I like dabbling with python and that's when I'll need to use the arrow keys. If you're a programmer or coder, I'm assuming you'll prefer a full keyboard size instead.

You might also prefer one that is wireless. I just realized mine doesn't come with a rechargeable battery. Probably, one of the reasons it's cheap. Wish it comes with a USB-c to c cable. My MacBook pro m1 pro doesn't have a USB-A type port. Had to use an adapter.
I think I have a USB-c to c cable somewhere. Have to remember where I've kept it. Nowadays, you want to be as light as possible and also wireless without the hassle of cables. I can even transfer pics and videos wirelessly from my Nikon Zfc to my mac.
Portable 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, MageGee MK-Box LED Backlit Compact 68 Keys Mini Wired Office Keyboard with Blue Switch for Windows Laptop PC Mac - Grey/White
I did some search and there doesn't seem to have any RGB Mac mechanical gaming keyboard. Yes, you can use the normal gaming keyboard on a mac but the keycaps are normally the Win logo. Luckily, you can buy keycaps replacement with either logo.
If you're using the 60% gaming keyboard, for example, you'll have to press the Win + c or V to copy and paste. I like to change the Win logo to a Mac logo just like a mac keyboard. What can I say, I'm freaking loving my Macbook pro right now.
OEM Profile PBT RGBY CMYK Modifiers 10 Keys Laser Engraved Keycaps Mac Keycaps for Cherry MX Mechanical Keyboard (CMYK Mac Top)
I like to mod and change things up. Like my bicycles, I've changed the boring handlebar, pedals, and stems to a more colorful design. That's why I also like to play around with raspberry pi, dabble with python, DIY robotic cars, etc. It's really fun!
You can check out some of my DIY projects on my youtube channel here. Well, I found my USB-c to c cable. Now, I don't need the adapter. I also just remembered to use the mac ports' dust plugs for the extra USB c and earphone plugs. Have I told you I found a nice hard case for my mac?

Razer Mamba Elite Wired Gaming Mouse: 16,000 DPI Optical Sensor - Chroma RGB Lighting - 9 Programmable Buttons - Mechanical Switches
Oh yeah, what's using an RGB gaming keyboard without a good RGB gaming mouse eh? Of course, all these products are my own preferences setup. Now, I love my MacBook pro more. Lol. When I post about my new 14-inch MacBook pro M1 pro there are actually sour grapes people.
One comment is that it's nothing to shout about me getting a Macbook pro. Another says it's not good for gaming, while my video shows Dirt 4 running on my Mac. It plays smoothly and the sound on this MacBook is pretty loud too.
Anyway, who cares what they think. I'm the one enjoying using this Mac. Thinking of playing Diablo after this.

My new Viltrox 13mm F1.4 AF lens for Nikon Zfc unboxing
VILTROX 13mm F1.4 f/1.4 Nikon z Mount Lens, Super Wide Angle Autofocus APS-C Lens for Nikon Z50 Z30 Z6II Z7II Z6 Z7
Hey guys,
Check it out!
I got the chance to test out my new Viltrox 13mm, f1.4 AF lens on my Nikon zfc, and I love it. Though, it's not for all situations. Especially, when I want closer shots of my subject. Sometimes, it's too broad. Hence, having to change the lens frequently. Lol.
I was planning to go out again today and use the Viltrox 13mm lens but, the weather forecast says it's gonna be cloudy the whole day. It's actually dark in my room right now. I was hoping for some bright blue skies. Anyway, since it's a holiday, it's a great chance to rest my body aka body maintenance.
VILTROX 13mm F1.4 f/1.4 Nikon z Mount Lens, Super Wide Angle Autofocus APS-C Lens for Nikon Z50 Z30 Z6II Z7II Z6 Z7
I really like how sharp the 13mm is. It really does give a little difference in the view perspective. Most reviewer says it's great for landscape. I usually set my camera to auto. And, it works well with the viltrox lens. It does give a little wider view.
The lens is a tad heavy. You can really feel the build quality and how much you pay for it. As I'm using it with the Nikon zfc, it really gives my camera a distinctive look. Yup, I know people eyeing my camera while carrying it around.
Z fc DX-Format Mirrorless Camera Body w/NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 (SE)
Maybe, it's because I'm like the only one carrying a camera. Well, there is this one other guy with a bigger lens than mine. Kinda funny, cause he's probably wondering why mine, the lens, is shorter if I'm gonna shoot some birds.
I didn't really go to the Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve (Google Maps) to get some bird shots. I also wanted to try my new Nikon Nikkor Z DX 50-250mm lens. I'm also loving the lens. Though I couldn't get much closer shots, I can still enlarge and crops the pics later.
NIKON NIKKOR Z DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 VR Ultra-Compact Long Telephoto Zoom Lens with Image Stabilization for Nikon Z Mirrorless Cameras
Well, you need to go out there and start shooting photos if you want to improve and I certainly learn a lot by doing it. Every time I went out hiking or cycling to interesting places to take photos, I discovered what kind of lens I should or not use.
I basically got myself the Nikkor z dx 50-250mm because I like zooming in or out to get the shots that I want or preferred. When I first used the 28mm prime lens, I really miss the zooming capabilities of my Nikon Coolpix P950. Of course, the prime lens offered a different perspective too.
Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/4.5 VR S
When I went to the wetland reserve, I wasn't thinking of getting bird shots. Luckily, I had the 50-250mm. So, I managed to get some good bird shots. But, I soon realized, I'm a couple mm lens shorts. I couldn't get any closer. Now, I'm thinking can or should I get a teleconverter?
I just saw this Nikon Nikkor z 400mm (without a tc) and have been watching some reviews and Nikon official videos on it. Looks like pretty amazing pictures and videos. I also like how some reviewers say it's much shorter and lighter compares to other big lenses.
Check out some of my 13mm and 50-250mm pics I took at the Sungei Buloh Wetland reserve below:
The last pic is cropped from a 50-250mm shot. The lens couldn't get any closer but I can enlarge and crop it. Still looks good. Also, using the 13mm is also great for a vertical shot. Useful, when taking a pic of the tall tower. You don't have to stand further out.
Because I'm lazy, I shot mostly in jpegs and just edit a bit of color, brightness, saturation, etc. For more pics and videos of the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Check out my video here. Pls like, share & subscribe!
