67mm Multi-Coated 3 Piece Filter Kit (UV-CPL-FLD) for Nikon Coolpix P900, P950 Digital Camera
Hey guys,
Check it out!
I finally received the filters that I ordered for my Nikon Coolpix P950. And, they work great with my camera. The bad news is that, instead of getting the star point 4,6, and 8, they send me the wrong bundle filter collections.
I've been planning to use the star filter to takes some photos with star effect this month as it's my birthday and also the country independence day. There are cool lightings and banners set up everywhere. It's fun to see the whole country as if celebrating your birthday too. Lol

I bought the variable neutral density adjustable ND lens filter that is pretty cool. The 67mm filter fits nicely to the camera and you can easily and quickly adjust how dark or bright your picture will be. I showed it on my video. You can watch it here.
The current weather is kinda weird. It'll rain heavily in the morning and be bright in the afternoon. Then, it'll be moody grey the whole day. I haven't yet gone out to test the filter in full but, I'm just playing around with them while at home.

Playing with filter is pretty fun. Right now, I'm on the lookout for filters that can turn your mundane photos into something interesting to see. Playing with filter and colors can really make your picture stands out. I discovered that in my P950 menu settings.
I've only spent a couple of weeks with my camera and it's only when I'm taking photos and fiddling with the menu settings that I realized what more I can do instead of just using the auto-setting. I'm a little afraid to try them out as I want to put out something quick first on my youtube channel.

Of course, the more I play with it, the more I'll discover the new techniques and technical stuff. For now, I basically have everything I want to work with my camera. Yes, there are a lot of filters out there that I haven't bought, and try them out.
I'm just looking for places and interesting subjects to take photos and videos of. Too bad, because of the pandemic, there are still travel restrictions. The more you travel, the more interesting photos you can take. I'll want to see what you can do with the P950.

One day, I might even move on from the Nikon Coolpix P950. But, so far, I'm loving it. What I hear or read people complain about the camera is the pictures aren't good or dynamic enough. I think, if you're really a good photographer, you can certainly do more with less.
Whatever. I'm no pro, so I can't really give my 2 cts. This is basically my new hobby. I'm open and willing to hear other's opinions. You can give yours on my P950 videos. If you have ideas or even your own photography blog and channel, just comment on my youtube videos.

I need to remember where my object focus is. Not, just taking random focus. Not, knowing what I'm aiming for.
For both of these pics, I played around with the camera scene color settings. I only realized you can do this while testing the filter. I also used my portable monitor color as backdrops.
I'll be happy to check your blog and channel out. Subscribe to me and I'll subscribe back. I've actually been checking out some videos on the P950 83x zoom capability before I bought my camera. But, there aren't many who actually took some really good pictures or videos with it.
I don't know why instead of going closer to take the last two pictures, I actually zoomed from where I was sitting. I'm using the zooming capability too much. That's why the battery kinda used up pretty fast. I also forget the camera can get very close shots. I didn't try that when I was out taking photos.
Well, the more you play with your camera, the more you learn!
What do you guys think?
