Razer Blade - World's Smallest 15.6" Gaming Laptop - 144Hz Full HD, 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750H, GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD
Hey guys,
I was filling up some Razer feedback forms and it finally came to the question, What product would you like to see next from Razer?
I wrote, a portable gaming console with windows 10. Something, like the Nintendo switch or gpd2. And, the price below $1k.
Razer did actually made something like that, a year or two ago. They had a 10 inch, windows tablet that would fit into a controller casing. Not sure, if Nintendo copied that idea but theirs certainly better!
The problem with the switch is that it's not on a windows platform. You can basically, do more with Microsoft Windows OS. Although, as limited as the switch is, it's still the best portable gaming console in the world right now!
There, I said it!

The next best gaming console?
It's the GPD Win II!
It's embedded with gaming control buttons and it got windows 10 on it. It can even play grand theft auto and other top triple-A games. The form factor is almost similar to the Nintendo ds or a laptop?
The GPD wins are pretty compact, small, and light. Great for gaming and other entertainment like listening to music and watching movies. Since it's pre-installed with Windows 10, you can also do school projects or basic work on it.
You can connect to an external keyboard or monitor and go straight to work. You can play games on a train or bus ride. If you travel overseas a lot, the GPD would be a great companion without taking up too much space in your luggage or backpack!
It basically has the best of both worlds!

Let's not forget the Razer phone. I like the slick, blackberry-Esq, black design which includes two speakers. It's pretty loud with good sound quality. Watching movies, youtube, or live IPTV via Kodi is pretty amazing.
It's supposed to be a gaming phone. And, I've tried playing some games with touch screen control and via an Xbox one s controller. The problem I had is the kind of games available on it. Some might disagree with me on this.
Granted, there are some good games out there. But, the touchscreen controller suckz. Mobile games today, should include the ability to use an Xbox or ps4 controller. It'll be much better and more fun for the gaming experience!
I was actually thinking, why Razer didn't create any accessories for it like the ROG game phone that was just announced. Razer did show a laptop that you can slide into your phone and use like a touchpad or double screen. Sound, and look kinda cool.
If they design a battery casing with a Bluetooth keyboard that includes a simple game control, that would actually be interesting too. Might be a tad bulky, but I assumed some wouldn't mind the extra weight and size.
It really does, has so much potential to it!

Just look at the games coming out for the switch. Games like Doom, Wolfenstein II, FIFA18, and other triple-A games!
Even Zen pinballs are on the switch now. I was hoping they'll come out with a switch version as I'm a pinball game fan. And, they did. By the way, don't forget the popular game, Fortnite, now out on the switch.

Other manufactures are actually designing and coming out with their own mobile gaming devices. Which include some cooling systems and controllers. It will be pretty interesting to see how this unique section grows.
The consumer will win in the end. With so many choices and improved mobile gaming products. The onus is on the mobile game developers. Will we see a better mobile game that's close to the console version?
Oh, and another thing. I hate it when I need an internet connection to play some of the games. I end up deleting most of them. And, just play all my retro games on my mobile phone. It's becoming irritating to have to endure watching ads to play a game.
Just read up most of the comments on the google play store. Everyone, basically complaining about too many ads. In the early days, you'll just buy your favorite game and be done with it. I don't actually, remember ever finishing any kind of games nowadays.
It's already half a year gone and I have the feeling, game developers will continue creating free-to-play games with mini transactions and more of the royale-pain-in-the-ass multiplayer games!
Nuff said!
