Hey guys,

Check it out!

I've been using my Razer Phone as a daily driver for a week or two and beside the hiccups that I had on the first day, this phone hadn't much problem since then. It's basically an android device, so I installed my two favorite apps, kodi and retroarch.

Kodi and Retroarch runs really well without any noticeable problem. Today, I connected my xbox one controller to my razer phone and tried playing some retro games. You need to change some settings on retroarch for the controller to work.

There are some games that doesn't work. But, at least some of my favorite snes games do. I can play using the on screen control or with my xbox one controller. Which is way much better. Definitely, the Razer phone is very versatile.

I'm also happy that now, it's very easy to connect an xbox controller to your android phone. You also don't have to meddle with any apps or settings. A couple years back, this wouldn't have been possible!

Now, if only it is as powerful as the Nintendo switch. If they can make this a little bigger (6 inch maybe?) with a little more powerful processor that can play optimized android version triple AAA games, mobile phone gaming might really take off!

The fact, that you can use the xbox one controller to play mobile phone games are really enticing too. We all carry our phone everywhere. And, you just need to bring the xbox controller for extra gaming comfort.

Someone can also invent something like the switch controller battery pack casing. If you game too long , you'll probably use up the battery pretty fast. What's the use of a phone if you can't use it. It's a surprise that no tech company have manage to improve the battery power till today.

Razer have recently demo a product that you can fix your razer phone into and use as a laptop. Pretty interesting. Although, it would have been better just getting a razer stealth. It might work though as an android laptop. And, if the price isn't too expensive!

An android laptop, powered by your Razer phone might be useful to use. If you need to work on some files or data. Having a bigger screen and a keyboard is a plus. I use google excel and check my email often. If i'm away from my pc, it'll be a quick way to work on my stuff online.

Of course, it'll be more fun to play some android games on a bigger screen too. I like to link my whatsapp to my pc so chatting using the keyboard will be much faster and easier. In the end though, it'll depend on the pricing. Too see if it's really worth it!

The Razer Phone, have much potential in term of as a platform for mobile gaming, light work and multimedia consumptions. Android, security is getting a serious look and better apps are made for it. Been a long way for it to get this far!
