My weirdo shy arduino robot

ARDUINO UNO R3 [A000066]

Hey guys,

Check out my weirdo Arduino robot!

Today, I received my servos part order, so I decided to try to build a robot with an Arduino and two servos without using any motor shield. I found a website that teaches you how to do just that. Looks pretty easy. You'll need a breadboard and some jumper wires to links to your Arduino.

I improvised a bit by using a power bank and make sure they live and ground wires are linked together via the breadboard. I'm not an electrical expert but, I decided to try using the power direct via Arduino 5v. Whereas, the tutorial suggests to use separate power for each of them.

I think it depends on your motor. I bought the servos within the 3-6v. As I was actually buying it for the micro: bit. All I know is, it works. My weirdo robot is a little crude but, I don't have any 3d printers. So, again, I improvised by using leftover cut boards available.

I' going to improve on it, as the right servo(legs) keeps coming off. I'm not sure why, but, watching the weirdo robot moves is a little mesmerizing. I already have my sts pi smart car robot, that's why I was thinking of just using the servos as legs. I bought more servos for my beaglebone blue project too!

I need to do some tweaking on the code too. I just copied the code from the site and didn't edit anything. I wanted to make sure it works. I like dabbling around with sample code to see what it'll do. I also want my robot to move the way I want.

Anyway, check out my video and tell me what you think!
