Diablo III on HP 15s AMD RYZEN 7 Radeon X VEGA 10

It's a nice Saturday afternoon, although, it feels like Sunday. I thought I'll play Diablo III on my HP 15S AMD RYZEN 7 laptop with Radeon X Vega 10 integrated mobile graphics. I only played for a while. I don't really spend long hours gaming.

I decided to play the game again after checking my social media and emails. A few minutes in, I decided to record my gameplay, edit it and upload it on youtube. All done on my HP laptop. This time around, I didn't have any image freeze problem while editing.

I guess the other time when the video image froze, while I was editing, could be just a hiccup. Everything was smooth without any lags. I have confidence in the AMD Ryzen 7 processor but not so in the Radeon RX Vega 10 mobile graphics.

I went to a website to compare the Intel HD/UHD/Iris Plus benchmarks and the Vega 10 surprisingly passed most of them all. So, it's actually way much better than let's say the Intel HD 615 which can be found on Microsoft Surface Go.

I must say, I'm pretty interested in the latest Microsoft Surface Pro X. But, I don't know why they're so freaking expensive. With the kind of price, I'll rather get a gaming laptop. I'm actually interested in the surface pro 2-in-1 tablet design. Cause, I'm thinking of using it for taking videos like my iPad pro.

Currently, all my main videos for my youtube channel are taken and edited on my iPad pro. 99% of the time, I've had no problem like lag or stuttering. I'm even thinking of upgrading to the latest iPad Pro with the new M1 processors IF they have it.

I've actually got a quick look at the Apple M1 chip 13 inch and 16-inch laptop at an Apple store last month and I'm pretty impressed. They look so thin and even wonder if it's really a 16 inch. Before me, somebody must have opened all the windows so I closed them. Everything was fast and zippy.

I opened up the browser and went to visit my own blog to check how good it'll look. I was still using a dark background then. At least, my blog didn't show any weird problem on a mac. One with a new M1 processor at that. Wish I have the money to buy them. I'll test the heck out of it.

The gaming laptop that I really want though is the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 with AMD Ryzen 9 and the latest RTX graphics card. I wish they'll come out with a 15.6-inch version. I like my HP 15.6 inch screen size. It's much bigger than the usual 14 inches. 

I also like the location of the speaker which is pretty loud for listening to music, watching movies, and of course gaming. Have to remember though that my HP 15S is not a gaming laptop. People keep asking me what games can they play on this laptop. 

Even Diablo III on this laptop, the average frame rate is 16.3/s. Although, it might have dropped because I was recording. I didn't see any kind of lags though. But, my setting was on medium-high. I think I did lower the resolution. So it helps. 

I might get myself a gaming laptop one day. Especially, if I see one that looks cool and has the specs to wow me.

The first thing, I remembered when looking at the Microsoft latest Surface laptop go is my old Macbook Gold retina. It looks almost the same. Of course, there are differences in specs. Like, the MacBook is 12 inch with retina display.

I loved my Macbook back then and so did my nephew. Whenever he comes over my house, he'll use it. He wasn't happy when I decided to sell it off. He likes how long the battery lasts in between usage. It's also light and quite portable.

I took this picture of my Macbook Gold Retina with my Blackberry passport. Which is used. It was an interesting phone with that size. But, I always like blackberry phones, especially with OS10. You'll need a bigger pocket for the phone though. lol.

I don't know why Apple is not continuing with the Macbook. All they need to do is update the specs and maybe lower the price more. Both of the Surface laptops go and the MacBook is great for light usage. For students, this would definitely be great for school.

If the screen is a touchscreen, you might as well make the laptop's ability to fold. So, people can use it as a tablet. Would definitely benefit school artists. Or, if you want to hold it while laying down watching youtube videos.

It's great that they're putting the 720p front camera though. During this pandemic just shows how essential communicating through video-call is. I'm kind of an advocate of the video call. It's crappy that you have to wait until there's a pandemic before everyone takes video-call seriously.

Hello, my mom always video call my sis through Whatsapp. I've seen people at work using it to call their families. It's kinda weird that people don't use it for work. Ok. maybe because it's expensive back then and the camera, plus connections weren't that good either.

Nowadays, tech has definitely improved. For example, I used to hate the fingerprint sensor on mobile phones. I was surprised how smooth it is on my current laptop. I can easily log in to my laptop within secs. So, I assumed it will be great for the Surface laptop go. So, enjoy it!

I hope they can lower the price though. At that price, it got me an HP 15s AMD Ryzen 7 with Vega 10 graphics, 15.6-inch FHD with a full backlit keyboard. It's not a touchscreen, but I seldom need it, unless I can fold it. Also, comes with 512gb SSD. 

I guess, if you're a student, you might be able to get a special prize, so look out for that.

iPad pro Diablo III PC streaming with KinoConsole gameplay

If you didn't know yet, you can stream any Steam pc games to your iPad pro or Android tablets and even to mobile phone!

Yesterday, I tried out Steam link (beta) to stream games to my Razer phone. Watch the video here. It was smooth and the graphics was as good as on the pc. My only problem was that, I couldn't get the sound to work on the phone.

I didn't have any sound problem when using the KinoConsole app. You have to download the server to your pc and the viewer to your mobile devices. Once, you link up through your wifi (5ghz) network, you're ready to go.

The KinoConsole are free but, you'll have to get pass ads to start using the service. The games are locked at 30 fps. If you're willing to pay, it'll go up to 60 fps. So far, using the free version works fine. The steam link are free but, like i said, I'm having problem with the sound streaming.

Right now, I'll give the edge to KinoConsole, because you can use touch control and also add screen buttons to play games. For android devices, you can use bluetooth to pair your favorite controller and use it to play.

I don't have any controller that can link to my iPad pro right now. So, I wouldn't know if you can play the streaming games using them. I'm hoping the steam link (beta) would include all the extras that KinoConsole are offering.
