Yesterday, after playing around with my Arduino package, I decided that I need to buy a soldering iron. I was watching youtube when I saw this video by Sunfounder on soldering for beginners. So, I decided to check it out.
I haven't done any kind of soldering before, so this video is very helpful. Especially, since, it's specifically showing you how to solder the pins to the LCD. The instructor also teach you how to clean up if you shorted it.
Future technologies might help them to use the abundance of solar light and maybe raw resources that they can find on planets that they visit. They can use it to 'recharge' or even update their own tech. They will travel far and wide where no man can go!
Isn't that exciting?
Robotic technology are the future. Like it or not, we need them to be our 'columbus'. We need to send our droid as 'advance party' to do research and survey. And, to pass what knowledge they have learned back to us. From there, decision can be made if it's worth it to explore new world.
Right now, robotics technology have come so far but, we're still not there yet. The day will come, when we'll have robotic maid, robotic gardener or even robot friends. It sound a bit scary but, with better AI, they might become so real that we don't even think about it.
In the future, children would grow up used to being surrounded by robots. They'll might have a robot nanny or friends. They'll learn fast and easy. With a robot stored memory of past and future knowledge, they can just access by asking. Sound familiar?
We aren't there yet. Especially, in the robotics technology department. So, you might want to let your kids study everything about engineering, programming and robotics today in preparation for the incoming future.
Definitely, there are so many Diy Robot kits you can try out and play around with. The important thing though, is to learn and at the same time have fun!
