Hey guys,

Check it out!

I know, I've been posting a lot about my new HP 15s laptop, lately. The thing is, it's got a lot of views on my youtube channel and also a lot of questions about it and laptops in general. Sometimes, it's a bit irritating because their question shows, they never actually watch the whole video.

I don't pretend to be an expert or anything, but I've owned a couple of laptops and desktop since the mid-90s. I can't even remember what's the brand of my first desktop. It comes with windows 3.1 and costs more than a year's bonus. lol

Anyway, one of them asked me to 'research' which laptop should he buy, the Tuf FX505DDT, or my current HP 15s laptop. He wants to be able to play PUBG on high 60FPS. Also, going to use it for school to learn to program.

For a guy, going to school to learn, I assumed, computer engineering or coding, it's kinda weird, he's asking me to do research for him. Especially, when it's pretty obvious, which laptop is better for gaming or for school.

I can play games on my AMD Ryzen 7, Radeon X Vega 10 laptop but, most of the triple AAA games, I tried playing can only play on low-medium settings. I've checked some of the Asus Tuf gaming laptops, and most of them have a GTX graphics card.

One thing for sure, they cost more than my Hp laptop. Not, everyone is into gaming so, for them, a laptop with my kind of specs will suit them. Also, if you have a certain budget, this is below $1k. I post an article yesterday about the Microsoft Surface Go laptop. And, it's almost the same price as my HP laptop. Only mine has better specs.

Asus, actually have a couple of interesting gaming laptop. There's one with an extra screen above the keyboard. At first, I thought that's weird and probably useless. But, after looking at it again, it might add extra screen space.

The reason, I've changed my mind about dual or even triple monitor on a laptop is after I started using my portable monitor as my desktop second screen. Being able to watch youtube or having a separate window for separate tasks is pretty useful.

If you want a high-end laptop, you have to be ready to pay the dough. With this kind of price, you definitely need a reason to buy and a return on investment. I can definitely see professional musicians, photographers, or artists using this.

For the rest of us mere mortals, we can only dream. :p
