Keyboard, or laptop keyboard protector been around for a long while. But, this is actually the first time, I bought one. I decided to get one for my new laptop after using an external RK61 mechanical keyboard.

I thought it'll be a good idea to cover the laptop keyboard from dust since I'm not using it. And, it's actually a good idea to maintain your laptop keyboard in the long run. The good thing is that the protector is washable and I love the bright color!

I was actually looking at some, learning computers for kids, and I love how colorful, the keyboards are. No, I'm not buying one for my children. I don't have any. I'm the big 'ol kid that thinking of getting one for myself. lol.

I thought to myself, why aren't there any laptops or keyboards that have colorful keys like them? Yes, there are RGB keyboards but it would still be cool if the actual keys can be exchanged with your preferred colors.

Anyway, before you get one, you'll have to make sure that the silicone protector will fit your keyboard. Good to check your own keyboard layouts and compare it with the protector. I thought mine was the same but there are some keys that are a bit different.

The good thing is that it doesn't matter. I like how soft and the protector actually didn't move when I tried typing over it. Need a bit of getting used to. Sometimes, I eat or drink while using my laptop so, it'll help keep my keyboard clean. I might even buy one for my Razer mechanical keyboard.

I decided to get myself a mouse together with the colorful keyboard protector. I wanted an RGB mouse that's cheap to be used with my new HP 15s AMD Ryzen laptop. I saw one that's to my liking and got it. I didn't know the brand was INPHIC, till it arrived. 

I'm actually surprised at how good the quality is. Love the smooth texture and the two side-buttons to easily browse internet pages. You can click forward or backward, just like my HP main pc mouse. Of course, I love the RGB lightings. Though, should have got one that surrounds the whole base.

After I got the mouse though, I realized that I should have got the one with the number pad at the side. I used to have a Razer Naga mouse with a nice led lightings. I don't think they sell it anymore. The led lighting looks like a spider that glows.

I'm not sure why Razer stop selling it. It was my favorite mouse of all time. Love the number pad. It's great for playing RPG games. But, nowadays there are a lot of companies that are selling it. I guess I'll get one if I saw anything with a nice, cool design.

When I'm looking at a product, if the design doesn't catch my eyes, I'm not interested. I seldom look at their specs. You can always compare specs later. If you didn't know, Apple just announced their new iPhone 12. Yup, the design still sucks. And, they still have the stupid notch!?

Steve Jobs, is probably rolling in his grave right now!

On my last blog post, I talked about being able to connect my wired keyboard and mouse to my Razer phone via a usb type c hub. This would be great if you want to work comfortably with a mouse and keyboard attached.

You can also play games using a keyboard and probably a mouse too. Although, I haven't tried it out yet. In this video, I tried playing Atari 2600 emulator game, galaga (river raid clone) using the keyboard and it works perfectly without any kind of lag.

Some reviewers, gave feedbacks about lags if you used a bluetooth folding keyboard. If that's true, then using a usb type c hub would be much better. Since, the Razer phone used type c connector, this is already one of the pros.

You'll have to remember that, the battery power will drained up a little faster if you're connected to those devices. You can either bring along a power bank or be near a power point. Get a usb hub with an hdmi connector and you'll also be able to connect to a monitor too.

All these bring me to the conclusion that, having a laptop extension for the Razer phone is pretty useful. If you're the type who prefer to bring along a keyboard and even a mouse to use with your mobile phone. This would be great.

Having a bigger screen to work, chat and enjoy watching videos are definitely a plus!

The only question now is, will Razer roll out the product and how much it'll cost. I think, it should cost much, much less than the Razer stealth or a chromebook. Or at least the same price as the devices you'll want to go with your phone.
