The First Guides for Rift Are Out…


Hey guys,

Rift: Planes of Telara is barely lighting up the servers after launch and already we’re looking at the first few guides for the game. Hundreds of people are out there playing the game and entertaining themselves with a slew of different content options – from the Warfronts to the Rifts to the end-game dungeons and raids. This is shaping up to be a BIG game and that’s saying something when you consider how big a few other MMOs out there are.

But, how do the guides look? Are they useful or just tossed together to cash in on the quick release of the game? Some of the guides are okay for sure but others are a bit lacking. I see dozens of guides that just don’t look that good. They are missing a lot of options and read more like official strategy guides (i.e. no strategies) than an actually useful guide.

But, there are a few that look decent, mainly Rift Secrets from Tony Sanders. This puppy is loaded with tips about how to defeat your opponents in PvP, how to level up quickly, and how to make a good chunk of Platinum in the game FAST. You’re pretty much going to cruise through the game if you know what you are doing, and this guide shows you how to know exactly what you are doing.

I can’t say which guide will be best, but I can say this game is awesome so you should get a guide as soon as possible and right now, the best one I see is Rift Secrets. Get on over to Tony’s site and see what he has to offer.

Tony had written guides for WoW and his one of few players that been with the game since the beginning!

So, he's a hell of a player and a guide author.

Well, just been kick out of the server. Today, the final day of the RIFT beta and there's another one coming. So, if you're interested just go to the main site for more info and signup.

This time round, I didn't record any gameplay but no matter. It's still kinda same like the earlier video I did before. A couple of varied battles though. Also, manage to finish some more quest.

Feel, kinda short although the beta was from Friday through Monday. Now, it's already 2 am. Their timezone is 10am 7th Feb.

For me, it's a little lagged every time, I tried to play around this time. But, it didn't the last beta that I played. Not, sure why.

I like doing the battles with the other players. Pretty fun and awesome.

You should definitely signup for the beta. Just make sure your pc are up for it. Mine is a core 2 duo with HD 2400 Pro Ati Radeon graphic card. 2 Gb ram. 

I'm only able to play at low rendering. Everything, set to low. No anti-alias or whatever.

If you can play it at high settings then it's a beautiful game to play. Nice background ambient music.

Pretty, sexy chick too ..haha.

RIFT Beta this Friday 4th -7th Feb 2011

Oh yeah, another RIFT beta coming up starting Fri 4th til Mon Feb 7 2011.

Gonna be awesome!

Not, sure if I'm gonna do any video though.

I always get kick out after finish recording. It's because my PC is already running on low rendering.

Damn. If not, I'll want to play it at full settings.

It's a beautiful game with nice ambient music background.

I've totally grown with my character in the game.

You guys should check the game out.

Yes! Invitation to RIFT Battle of Ascended Beta!

Oh yeah,

Just look through my email and got another invitation to play RIFT - Battle of Ascended Beta from 25th to Friday 28th Jan 2011. It's gonna be awesome.

You can also pre-order on their main site here.

The only problem for me is it's graphics intensive and I have to adjust the setting to 'low' to freaking play it. I still remember playing the earlier beta and it was full of bugs and I had to reboot my system a couple of time. Well, it is still on beta. It's still fun though and sometime it played fine. I manage to play a couple of hours sometime without hiccups. The game is beautiful and the ladies are hot (i mean the ladies on the game)! LoL!

I'm hoping, this time round there's less hiccups and system reboot! LoL!

Also, hoping to take some video playing it this time. I'll post it, after we're allowed to do that.
