I don't care what others say, it's a fun movie to watch. Especially, if you have Milla and Tony in it. I decided to make a short video clip of both of them in fighting scenes and you can watch them here. There's actually some cool move in there. So, watch 'em!

Mysterious monolith discovered deep in the desert

2001: A Space Odyssey

I'm not sure if you have seen the news about a monolith that's been found in the Utah desert. It's weird and at the same time funny. It's funny because it's done probably by some prankster. It's weird because what does the monolith suppose to represent?

2001: A Space Odyssey

If you have seen movies like the Space Odyssey, you'll know it looks something like the monolith in the movie. To be clear, they already check it, and it's definitely man-made. Everyone, have their own theory of what it's actually is.

To me, it looks like a metal cabinet. Also, could it be a chimney or ventilation? I've seen they check on top of it and there's no opening. Well, there goes my theory. Maybe, it's just supposed to be a symbol or an art piece. It does look a little artsy.



Arrival

Another movie, "The Arrival" is also linked to the monolith. Would be cool if aliens finally arrived on earth. They probably come at the wrong time though. Since it's the pandemic and all. Or is it the right time? When humans are in perils right now.

The Aliens leaders probably discussed among themselves and say, "humans, are in danger of being extinct. Although it's their own fault for their own demise, they're too important to be extinct?". Lol. Well, you never know. 

Contagion (2011)

Here's something to think about. The 'reality' that we're in right now isn't really a reality. Do you think we humans are 'native' of this earth? Do you think, we're born just to slaves for others? Working 24hrs for paychecks? No, we're humans. We're not robots.

There's more to life than just blindly following what we are told to do. Although, there are certain rules that we must follow. Even animals have instincts of basic rules. That doesn't mean, we shouldn't think for ourselves.

Look up to the skies and tell me what you see? Possibilities. Look how vast the universe is. There's a reason we are here. There's a reason we are living. There's a reason for everything. Life is much more than you think!

The other day, I got the urge to watch the movie Hackers. It's one of my favorites among all the movies about hackers. Especially when you have the 90s vibe. Oh, and those laptops. Laptops cost a bomb back in the day.

I saw zerocool aka Crash Override given the clear-case laptop. I was like, I want that! Decades later, I still dream of having that laptop. I read somewhere was actually a PowerBook Duo.

I remember my GF, little sis, bought a dual-boot Apple laptop that boots into Windows. I forgot if it's a PowerBook or a MacBook. I think it was in the late 90s. Yup, it was pretty expensive. It was funny because apparently, they made the wrong purchase.

I played around with it, and the Windows OS wasn't stable. But it was still cool, though. I have bought and sold a few laptops, which was really cool. I even got myself the Alienware m14x. Which was the best gaming laptop I've ever owned?

I don't know why every time I see a laptop, I go gaga over it. The only MacBook I bought or could afford was Macbook Gold. Not as powerful as a MacBook Pro but still pretty good nonetheless. My nephew loves using it.

Well, he loves using the iPad 9.7 inch that I recently bought around 2 years ago. I upgraded to the iPad Pro 10.5 later on and am still using it for my YouTube videos. Yup, I really love games and tech. That's why I decided to turn this blog into one about them!

Hackers - The Movie

Hackers will forever be my favorite movie about tech and the fun of the 90s. I was awed the first time I touched a computer at a military show when I was a kid. And, years later got my first computer. It was really fun playing with something new.

I got to play and dabble with Windows 3.1 and then upgrade to Windows 95, 98, XP, 2000, etc. Even tried Linux OS various version. Yes, the good 'ol days. Now, if only I can get my hands on a clear-case laptop!

The latest news from Italy state that almost 600 people died from Covid-19 within a day. So, it's getting worse. And, there's already around 18,000 infected in the U.S. I must say, I have never seen so much news and death from a single virus in my whole lifetime. It's like being in a movie!

The government supposed to have been prepared for such an event so that they will be able to manage if such things happened. Apparently, you have an #trumpisanincompetenceidiot president that actually closed down the department that could have acted early to save lives.

People's lives are at stake now and you don't want America to become another Italy nightmares. The doctor there has been warning the world about how dangerous the virus is and being prepared is half the battle won. That's what Sun Tsu Art of War states.

Well, I hope you guys stay safe and stay indoors. I'm still seeing people walking around as if nothing is happening. You have the coronavirus that can easily infect another person just by breathing. I've been sounding the alarms since the first time I heard about the virus in Wuhan.

If you guys been reading my post since probably this January. I hope you had heeded my advice then and been prepared by stocking up. This might take up almost till the end of the year to settle down. Hopefully sooner. I'll update whenever I can.

Chances favor the prepared mind!
