Hey guys,

Pimoroni, Explorer HAT Pro are one of my favorite product to build, play and test with smart robot. I made the video above, last year. A demo of what you can do with the explorer hat pro. Check it out!

It's basically an all in one board for the raspberry pi 3, that you can learn to code the led lightings and motor. Code it using simple python!

There's also a breadboard included on top of the main pimoroni board that you can use for other project. I tried, running a servo using the board and it actually work. But, you need to find the special code. And, sometime it didn't work. So, I used a separated arduino board to move the camera around.

Playing with Raspberry pi 3 and arduino are really fun!

It's great for learning about robotics and coding. I love learning about python and creating my own smart robot. If you have children, you should get it for them. You'll even find it great for adult learning too.

razer phone - tekken mobile gameplay and rants

Check out my tekken mobile gameplay on my razer phone!

The graphics are pretty much console level and play smooth on the phone. Although, it would have been much better to be able to use my xbox one controller to play. At this day and age, all mobile games should include the ability to use a controller.

It's a hit and miss with some of the mobile games available right now. The processing power and graphics have improved by leap and bounds but, it's kinda funny that they don't go all the way and let us play using an xbox one or ps4 controller.

I can even connect my mouse and keyboard to my razer phone and use it like an android mini computer. And, I didn't even have to install anything. It works right out the box. So, why aren't the mobile games today took advantage of that?

I remember back in the days, when everyone was complaining about touch control in games. Granted, the games and control have improved. And, there are many new companies that pop out building and designing real control for mobile games.

Enough, of those small silly games that people play on their mobile phones while waiting in line, in transits to school or work. We want better games. We want better shooter or rpg games that we can play using the controller or even with a keyboard and mouse!

I don't think it's much of a problem for game developers. Just look at the tekken mobile game. All it needs are the ability for us to play using a controller. Although, I would prefer a complete game like the old days without the need to go online or having to pay for upgrades.

Most of the games on my phone are retro games. These are old games but I can play it anywhere and everywhere without the need of the internet. Most of the games can be played using my xbox one controller. And, it's a full game!

Razer, are definitely doing it right. They have gone a step further by making their mobile phone game centric. The phone have great speakers and the screen size are pretty large. Their phone battery also last much longer. Even then, you can always bring along a powerbank.
