My niece came over to my house yesterday and she let me play with her new iPhone 12 Pro Max which she got a couple of weeks back. I remember checking out several versions of the new iPhones at the Apple Store when she was purchasing her Apple Watch. I actually had a good first impression of the design.

Yes, the new iPhone design looks like a retro iPhone 4. Actually, looks good and shiny. But, again, once you saw the notch, you're like wtf Apple? They're too arrogant to follow what Samsung managed to do. A full-screen phone even though there's a tiny punch hole for the front camera.

What I also like is that Samsung is brave enough to create the Z Fold 2. They kinda failed with the Z Fold 1 but improved on it, base on feedback. You really have to applaud them on that. It's the same with Nintendo. I've actually been giving feedback to them on the Nintendo Switch and Switch lite.

Nintendo, like to ask their customers for opinions and feedback. They'll send out an email asking for opinions on games or any of their products. What can be improved and what we'll like to add to the service they already provided.

Apple meanwhile is stuck with the same design for like over 15 years? iPhone 3G was my first iPhone and my last iPhone was the iPhone 8+. After that, although they have improved the camera and the bionic chips, they're still using the same old design.

While Samsung and other companies like LG are thinking of the advancement of the 2-in-1 phablet. Apple went back to their iPhone 4 tech. I get it, that some people actually love the design and the size of the much smaller phone. It's definitely easy on the pockets (size and weight).

I loved my iPhone 8 plus back then. Because it was my main camera for my youtube channel. I also love using the free video editing app, iMovie. It has a good camera, easy to edit with iMovie, and fast to upload to my channel. 

I don't even need a computer. All I need was my iPhone. Of course, I then decided to sell my iPhone 8 plus and get the Razer gaming phone. But, I quickly switch to the Samsung S10+ and then to my current phone the Samsung Note 10+.



New Apple iPad Air (10.9-inch, Wi-Fi, 64GB) - Space Gray (Latest Model, 4th Generation)

What I like and still using though is Apple iPad Pro 10.5. I'm thinking of upgrading but hoping there'll be one with an M1 chip version. At the Apple store, I also check out the latest Apple Macbook with the M1 chips. And, it's pretty awesome.

I wish the iPad have the same camera as the iPhone. Since I've sold my iPhone, my iPad Pro is my main camera and video editing device. It's actually much better editing on an iPad since the screen is much bigger, obviously. 

I also use my Samsung Note 10+ sometimes for content creation but the iMovie app is not available on Android devices. Lucky for me, I found the Quik app that doesn't have advertisements or the stupid watermark on your every video.

There are definitely pros and cons to both the Samsung and Apple mobile devices. It really depends on your preferences and usage. My niece loves her iPhones like I used to. But, now I love my Samsung phones more. And, I'm sticking to it, for now.

The other day, I had posted about my Razer Phone Fail video. I was really frustrated with the initial setup. Everything was slow and I even had to restart the phone several times because it keeps hanging up. I almost wanted to return it.

But, I felt it was either I received a defective phone or Android really sucks. I admit I'm not really an Android fan. I preferred my iPhone and iOS. Which always works right out the box. My last android phone was the S3 several years back!

The Razer Phone is really a solid build phone. And, I figured, I should try resetting it. Lo and behold, everything finally started to work. I could easily download apps from the Google Store and open it up without the dreadful, 'not responding' notification.

The phone came with a few pre-installed games and google apps. That's why it keeps asking me if I wanted to sign in. They should wait, until at least the phone are up and running before asking me all these questions. That's why I was feeling agitated in the initial setup.

After the phone are all set up and I didn't have any more problems with it. I started to test out the camera, taking pictures and videos. Everyone, saying that the pictures are really bright and clear. I even record a quick iPhone 8 plus unboxing video using my Razer phone.

I tried out the pre-installed, Gear.Club, racing game. Graphics are sharp and smooth. The L & R speakers are really LOUD. I haven't tried out my Razer Hammerhead USB-c earphone though. In all, I'm really satisfied with this purchased.

I've been showing it off to my family and so far received positive reactions. One of my nephews even told me to sell it to him, if I don't want it anymore. While I was playing with it at the bus stop, a kid gave a quick glance at my phone. Lol!

This phone will be my daily driver for a while, yet. Just wished, it had iMovie. I had always used, Apple free iMovie app for video editing before uploading them to my youtube channel (pls subscribe!). Now, currently, I'm using kinemaster.

There's a free version but with a watermark on your video. I would have paid for it, if it got the right one time, the purchase price. Nowadays, you have to pay a monthly or yearly fee just to get rid of the damn watermark!

I also like dabbling with the iPhone free Garageband app. I had made some music and upload it to my youtube channel too. Now, I'll have to find a suitable app on the android store. Not, really looking forward to it. Have tried most of them but, nothing beats a real FREE app!

Anyway. Guess, I'll have to start getting used to using an android phone. Check out my unboxing video and hope you guys like it.
