Hey guys,

Check it out!

I love my M-VAVE SMK-25 II MIDI keyboard. I've been dabbling with it and testing many compatible DAW software. I prefer Apple GarageBand which comes free with an iPhone, iPad, or MacBook. Luckily, I have all of them. I should have bought a MIDI keyboard earlier.

I have dabbled with garageband before but having a MIDI keyboard is much better. I have always wanted to learn to play the piano, that's part of the reason I bought the MIDI keyboard. I bought the 25 keys version but for learning to play the piano, it's better to buy one with 61 and above keys.

I want to buy a synthesizer keyboard and have my eyes on the Yamaha Modx6+. It's a 61-key synthesizer keyboard. I love the type of sound you can get from it. I was checking out both the Korg Kross 2 and Yamaha CK61. After listening to the Modx6+ demo, I loved it!

I like the synthesizer keyboard because there are so many sounds available that you can dabble with. Playing with the smk25ii and discovering new sounds makes me wanna have a synthesizer keyboard. I don't know why I didn't think to get a MIDI keyboard.

I used to play the guitar. I was interested in music and playing guitar back in the 80s rock. I self-taught myself enough to play at the school concert with my own band. It was such a fun time. But, I stopped playing after high school, and later on couldn't play anymore because of numbness.

I don't know why my hands go numb when holding stuff. It'll go numb even when I'm holding a newspaper. I will always have problems when holding the xbox controller. Besides going numb when playing the guitar, my fingers will hurt too. Click here to have a listen to my old playing guitar.

I used to buy many instrumental guitar music albums. Almost all of them are on cassettes. I regret giving it all to my friend. Especially, when I discovered you can buy a cassette player on Ali Express. Anyway, I've already stopped listening to them for a long time now.

I've always found synthesizer music to be interesting. Since I bought the smk-25 II, I have become more interested in learning about them. I found learning to play the piano also helps me improve my ability to make synth-based music. I'm concentrating on learning simple piano chords first.

This is funny to me as I've been typing on the computer keyboard for a long time and I think it kinda helps me to play the piano. Sometimes, I'll play web-based piano using the keyboard keys.  That's why I pick up fast and helps me learn. I also learned from bits and pieces via the YouTube videos.

As I've said in my other post. My ultimate goal is to be able to create my own background music for my YouTube videos. It's more fun and also allows us to avoid copyright claims. Unlike the past of the wild wild internet days, everyone accuses you of copyrights.

I have one copyright claim from someone even though I create my music using Apple garageband. I can't even fight for it on TikTok because I'll have to call a lawyer. A few years ago, someone claimed my moon video was theirs. Luckily, I'm able to counter as I have the original video. Idiota!

What do you guys think?
