Jewel Changi Airport Waterfall & Marina Barrage Day out Nov 2020!

Jewel Changi Airport

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Did you know Singapore has successfully contained the spread of the Coronavirus Covid-19 virus? Currently, it's reported in the news that there's been zero infection in the community. There are still worries of infections but they're mostly from external visitors.

In the early stages, the government didn't want a lockdown, but once it got worse they quickly planned a lockdown that also includes cash give outs and helping companies to cope with the economic impacts. Unlike, some countries, the fact, the govt acted fast has managed to minimize infections and death.

Singapore: Unlikely Power

Anyway, I had a defect with the portable monitor that I bought almost two weeks ago. I seldom have any problem with the products that I bought. So, it's kind of a hassle when I suddenly realized there's a white spot on the screen.

Luckily for me, my sis rented a car because they're thinking of going out around town. I checked with the seller as I've got 3 months warranty. He says I could come over to their warehouse anytime to exchange the monitor.

I'm actually using the new portable monitor right now. Like, I've said before, if you're already used to using multiple monitors as your main setup, it feels kinda limiting when you go back to say, using your laptop. That's why I'm thinking of getting an attachable monitor for my laptop.

After I've made the exchange, my niece wanted to go to Jewel Changi Airport where you can see the famous waterfall. The waterfall is actually located inside the Airport. Surrounded by beautiful greenery. There's a big Christmas tree that you can walk through as it's almost December.

Jewel Changi Airport

Frankly, it's the first time I've visited the Jewel Changi Airport. So, I'm pretty amazed when I finally get to see the man-made waterfall. Which seems to fall from the sky. You can watch the video I took here. You can sit down and relax all around the waterfall before going off to your next destination.

Well, they wanted something different and special that visitors, local or foreign from around the world to enjoy when they come to an airport. It's definitely something different and exquisite. Besides that, you can also do your shopping too.

My niece finally got her Apple Watch at an Apple Store there, which she's been thinking of buying for a while. I'm still wondering if I should get one. But, I don't really like the design though. I prefer my G-Shock watch collections.

We later went to pick-up, my nephew and my sis husband. Had dinner and went to the Marina Barrage. A nice place to take a walk or exercise. A lot of cyclist and runners was there when we reached the place. I also took a video of the place. It's all on my youtube video.

Yup, we had a nice day/night out. Especially, when you have been coop up in your house for a couple of months because of the pandemic. But, if you did your part and help each other, you can achieve anything. I don't see the point of stupid protesting when it can save lives. Especially, your loved ones!

Even though, the virus infection case is zero, we still wear our mask dutifully. Most of the time, others are wearing it too. So, it's not just me and my family. The governments are also working with other countries to try to create a route bubble for travel.

The pandemic is not the end of the world, yet. Do your part, stay safe, be safe. We're all in this together. Nobody or country is an island. Well, Singapore, literally is an island. No point in complaining or protesting. It'll be over sooner rather than later!
