I want an iPhone!

Heh! I found myself a new target in life. No. It's not finding myself a wife although, my Sargent used to keep reminding me to treat my M16 as one.

My new target is to get myself an iPhone!

Okay, okay. I might sound like a geek but the more I read reviews about it the more I want it. Just today, I read in "Today" newspaper featuring a couple of Singaporean entrepreneurs asking for their contacts in U.S. to line up on the 29th to get a couple of iPhone for them. And, they finally got it to Singapore. It's mostly for business purposes as they want to be prepared when the iPhone do come to Singapore. Which is probably in the middle of next year. Seems like a lifetime to me!

They are creating a host of products like stick-in stickers for the iPhone etc. Let just say by the time the product reach Singapore's shore there's already accessories you can buy. I find it perplexed though that some business owners aren't at all interested to do that. They very much preferred to take a position of wait-and-see. I think, they'll lose out on the craze and business too. I think if the product reach Asia and for me particularly Singapore it's going to be successful here. Although, the high price might set you back but the cool factor is definitely a draw. Big, fat rich kids is sure gonna ask their daddy or mommy to buy for them. That I'm sure.

Pssst.. I read in the paper that the guy who took his iPhone out in the MRT train (Mass Rapid Transport) actually got ladies chatting him up because of it.

Right now, you can already find a lot of applications, website optimize for your iPhone.

It's pretty cool.

In spite of that. I think, I'm gonna wait a wee bit longer till Apple improved on it. There's still no news of being able to send MMS, take videos or increased space on it. 8GB might sound pretty big but my 80GB ipod is already almost half fill-up. So, 8GB is pretty small. I guess, I can carry both around with me. I think, I might have 2 bulging pockets if I do that!

I thought about that and think that if I'm going out for movies or fun I might just carry my iPhone and if I'm going for a holiday or something then I'll bring both of them. Then, I'll have hours of music and videos.

Well, I'm just thinking about it anyway. The iPhone is still a long way to reaching here and I hope by the time it does, I'll have enough money and also the iPhone have improved enough to entice me to part almost a $1000 ++ singapore dollars for it!
