What Can You Do With Intel Atom Z3745D 1.3GHZ Quad Core 2GB RAM Windows 10 Tablet PC?

CHUWI UBook 11.6'' Touchscreen 2-in-1 Windows 10 Tablet PC, Intel N4100 Quad Core Processor, 1080P Display, 8GB RAM/256GB SSD with Type-c, USB 3.0 (Keyboard and Pen not Included)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Well, if you've watched my video, you can actually do lots of things on an Intel Atom Z3745D, 1.3GHZ, Quad-Core, 2GB DDR3 Ram tablet pc. Of course, there are limitations because of the low-end specs. That's why it's a cheap or affordable price.

For basic stuff like checking emails, watching youtube, playing simple Microsoft games. There are some good games on STEAM that you can play too. But, you can't install that many because of the 64GB storage. Although most things load a little slow they run fine.

The tablet pc that I bought is a no-brand version. I think it's meant to be for students. Probably, Chinese students cause I can't seem to get rid of the Chinese words. As I've said before, I'm surprised that it actually runs pretty smooth with Windows 10 Pro (activated).

I downloaded separately a Windows 10 update to the latest version (2018). This able me to download some latest programs. The other day, I tried to download and install Visual Studio 2019 and it has no problem running. Wish, it comes with more storage space.

I opt to change the 10-inch touch screen resolution from 1366 x 768 (recommended) to 1280 X 720. First, it makes thing a little bigger and 2nd, hoping it'll be less stress and able to run a little better. The design comes with a tough protected casing on both the keyboard and screen.

Someone commented on my video that he didn't like the design. It actually looks kinda old and ugly. But, that's precisely why I like it. Also, it's cheap. Around USD$150. By the way, in the last post, I said that there's something wrong with the Caps lock key, but now it's back to normal.

I have an Acer Spin, 2 in 1 laptop. But, to use it like a tablet is pretty heavy. Even though, it's pretty small with a 10-inch screen. Now that I have this new 2 in 1 laptop, I'm beginning to like the form factor. I can just undock and use it as a tablet. Pretty nifty.

Even in tablet form, it's still a tad heavy. Especially, when I'm lying in bed and holding it in one hand. That's why I wish, the future technology will make the tablet pc slimmer and lighter. Also, it won't hurt to be more powerful, especially for gaming.

Yesterday, I tried using Google Duo to video call my sis and mom. My sis didn't pick up but my mom did. My tablet front camera is only 2MP while the back is 5MP. The picture is actually not that bad and the mic works well too. For the life of me, I don't know why there's no Duo app for Windows 10.

I don't use skype. Google Duo is good enough for video calls, and like I said, I don't know why there's no Windows 10 app for it. Instead, I have to go to the website. Weird. For the mobile version, you can add emojis and pictures, which is fun.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 2 in 1 Touchscreen PC Tablet 12.3" 2736x1824, 10th Gen i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, 4 Core up to 3.70 GHz, USB-C, Backlit, Webcam, Win 10 w/Black Type Cover and Surface Pen

For now, I'm pretty happy with my tablet. Before I forget, I've checked and I can't upgrade the 2GB DDR3 integrated ram. Bummer. Thank goodness, even with a 2GB ram, everything still runs smooth. I didn't buy it for heavy-duty works anyway.

I'll love a hard-core gaming 2 in 1 tablet though. It's a surprise no company is making it. There are many pretty good 2 in 1 tablets. Really depends on your budget and usage. I'm actually loving the 2 in 1 form factor. I can use it dock to my keyboard or at night use it as a tablet.

I think a 2 in 1 tablet PC shouldn't be too big. Maybe below 10 inches. I like holding my tablet pc in one hand while in bed. If it's too big and heavy, would not be comfortable. I sometimes lay it flat on my bed or use my pillow to make it stand. Playing touch games in tablet mode would be better too.

That's what I call portable computing!

Alternatives Cheap Dual Screen Folding Phone to Samsung Z Fold 2

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G | Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone | 256GB Storage | US Version Smartphone Tablet | 2-in-1 Refined Design, Flex Mode | Mystic Bronze

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I was browsing around Amazon when I saw a couple of dual screen folding phones. If you like the idea of having a dual-screen folding phone but much cheaper, and not so fancy as the Samsung Z Fold 2, you might want to take a look at them.

Frankly, I'm not sure if they actually exist before the Samsung Z Fold. I think the main difference would be that for the cheaper phones, it's a dual-screen attached together. While the Z Fold is actually one special screen that you can actually fold.

Nonetheless, it's pretty intriguing to have a dual-screen phone. Now, everything you do on a single screen can be spread out to two screens or monitors. You'll have that bigger or extra bit of space. You can reply to emails or messages with the virtual keyboard not taking half of your screen anymore.

You can watch youtube while commenting below at the same time. Multi-tasking makes things easier and faster to access. I used to just use one monitor for my desktop setup. Now, I have one main screen for watching youtube and two portable monitors for blogging, social media, and communications all opened on separate monitors.

LG G8X ThinQ Dual Screen Unlocked CDMA GSM Cell Phone - 6.4" FHD+ OLED Display 2340 x 1080, Snapdragon 855 Octa-core, 6GB RAM 128GB US Warranty (Universal Compatible)

I like the LG G8X dual-screen phone. The specs aren't that bad either. They can improve it with 8-16Gb of ram. 256Gb - 1TB of storage and of course better processor. I don't have the phone, so I'm not sure how smooth and fast it is with the current specs.

It does have a 4,000mAh battery size, 6.4 screen size, and a 32MP front camera. I'm not sure about the rear camera. This is basically like two phones attached together. Would be interesting if you could attach and dis-attach the phone.

ZTE Axon M Z999 64GB Unlocked GSM Dual-Screen Phone w/ 20MP Camera - Black

Another interesting dual-screen phone is the ZTE Axon M Z999. One half of the phone actually looks like an iPhone. The specs are also a little lower than the LG G8X. It has a smaller 5.2-inch screen, only a 20MP camera, and a 3180mAh battery.

Both the screen have thinner edges than the LG's. So, when you open it up, it almost like a full 2-in-1 screen. I'm not sure about both of the hinges of the phone. When the Z Fold one came out, people were complaining about it. Although for both of these phones, there's nothing special as it won't affect the inside of the phone.

NEW Microsoft Surface Duo 256GB (Unlocked) - Glacier

Last but not least is the Surface Duo by Microsoft. I actually already blogged about this last year when it was first announced. You can read my post here. Even though, I haven't had any kind of time with it, right out the bat I said it's ugly and Microsoft is lazy.

The surface duo looks like they attached two small tablets together with a hinge. To me, a product design is as much important as the specs. That's why I called Microsoft lazy. Take a quick look at the Samsung Z Fold 2 and then look at the surface duo. They're like beauty and the beast. Lol.

I'm not saying that the Samsung Z Fold 2 is perfect. But, I think the dual-screen folding phone concept is good in a category by itself. More companies should do this kind of phone. Think about it, you can use it as a normal phone and then open it up and turn it into a tablet.

Of course, if they can make it much lighter and slimmer but still maintain the tablet screen size. The important thing is that it can fit your pockets easily without looking too bulky. Now, that's what I call mobile computing. All the power of a computer in your pocket!
