my MacBook Pro M1 Pro accessories installation and setup

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I love my new Apple MacBook Pro M1 Pro. I also like buying accessories for it. I've already got a 60% portable gaming keyboard and mouse. I bought from something other than expensive brands though. I prefer to get cheap China-made but still good to go. Also sometimes, I like their design more.

I just finished installing a screen and touchpad protector. Installing the screen protector on the mac was hard and slow. I have to make sure that it aligns with the camera. I hate the stubborn bubbles but I managed to clear them. Looking at the screen right now, I think it's worth the effort. Lol.

Yeah, I know. Are all this protection necessary? Who cares, I like buying stuff and accessories just for the heck of it. Does make me feel satisfied and in the long run, lessen the wear and tear effects. This is not my first laptop and if you're used to using one, you know what I'm talking about.

Although, I have owned and used many laptops from different brand, using a Mac has a total different feeling to it. Especially, if you're not used to a Mac O.S. Yes, I have an iPad and using several version of iPhone but it's not really the same.

For one thing, I keep going to the right end corner of an open window to close it when Apple prefers it on your left. And, when you want to access the menu, it's not on the window tab itself but at the top of the screen. Doesn't matter where you put that open window.

I like the dock though. While scrolling the aps icon will grow bigger. So, kinda cool playing with it. Almost all the apps that I frequently use are on the dock. Same, as on my PC or laptop. On the Mac, I have to remind myself that there's a 'Launchpad' where all the apps installed are.

I also have to remind myself that the 'Finder' is actually the file manager. I find the iCloud to be annoying. I want to find files that are on my laptop not in the cloud which are already filled. So, I can't use it anymore. I'll have to delete or pay to keep using the iCloud.

I don't really like using online storage although you can easily access your data on any devices that has access to them. The reason being, if you for any reason stop paying, you're fcked. I'll rather have all my stuff offline on my Mac, Pc or storage cards.

I'm definitely getting used to using a MacBook. This is the second time I'm blogging on my Mac. Normally, I'll use my computer with three monitors all setup with different windows tab opened. Okay, this time round, I'm using an external 60% RGB gaming keyboard and mouse.

One thing I noticed is that the battery last much longer than my HP AMD Ryzen 7 laptop. With my external keyboard and mouse connected, it'll suck up the battery pretty fast but I'm still at 70%. And, with my M1 pro chips it can play Dirt 4 smooth. It does get hots though. That's kinda normal.

Oh, I need to mention that my HP laptop only has 8GB ram. That's probably one of the reason why it stutters when playing some games and when doing my video editing. I used to say that 8GB ram is the minimum but nowadays, it's 16GB ram!
