Singapore through to the Final

I went to watch Singapore vs Malaysia in the Asean Soccer Championship semi-final yesterday. And I had a blast of a time!

I haven't gone to the Kallang National stadium for a very long time and going there made me realize how things have change. Looking around, of course I see a lot of young people. In fact, I see all kind of people. All kind of atmospheres during the up and down of the game.

I didn't realize how united people are when they support their own team or country. Not just in soccer but in any kind of high tension games.

I've read somewhere how a guy wrote that it's better to watch a soccer match live in the stadium rather then on the Tv and he was right. It's totally a different feeling. For starters, you will feel how real it is everythting are. It's not just a show you're watching on Tv. There's real life people out there playing their heart out. Either, they're playing for their country or club.

We had a full-house yesterday in the stadium. It was so exciting, so noisy and so fun!

I guess I haven't gone to this kind of places for some time maybe that's why.

Already, my friend asking me if we're going to the Final and GOD willing I'll go again. They say, the stadium would be torn down after this years Championship so maybe, I'll go to watch the last match and have a happy memory of it. Not that I really care about all this but just for fun sake!

Haha, I need to get out more often!

Well, after the game my friends and I thought we'll get out of the stadium earlier to beat the traffic but we got lost and didn't know where we park the car. So, we had to walk a long way before we finally reach the carpark. Then, it was jammed and more jam. It took us hours just to get out to the main road!

On the way out, people were honking their cars and singing ole! Ole! ole!

Once we got to the main road it was smooth sailing all the way to my home. We had our midnight supper in a 24hr restaurant. I bid farewell to my friend after telling him which road he could take. While walking home an old man suddenly wave his arm to me. I didn't know him but looking at him I know he's just a crazy old fool asking me for cigarettes. I told him I don't smoke and glad he didn't pester me for it. So, finally I reach home. Safe and sound.

I thought I would stay up late to work on my internet thing but, I was having a headache as I didn't have enough sleep for the day. So, once I plonk my head to the soft pillows I was on dreamlandzzz ...zz..

So, here I am woken up at 7am typing this post.

Once again, doing my own thang..yup!

I guess I had an eventfull day yesterday. And I'm glad I went out with my old friend yesterday which by the way we haven't met since our school days.

I guess that's it from me. Till then cheers and Congrats to the Singapore lions for winning the semi-final. Yup, we're in the Finals!

Wooohoooooo!!
